Visiting the site of the Seventh Satyan of Aum Shinrikyo

JapanesePlaces

A plateau with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

It seems that there was once a facility where Aum Shinrikyo manufactured sarin, located between the plains where the wind is so gentle that you wouldn’t notice it unless you were told.

With a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, I decided to stop by on my trip.

Place where the cenotaph is located (Fujigamine Park)

It is located on foot from Fujigamine Park to the west.

You can see Mt. Fuji in the background.

Let’s go to the 7th Satyan

Even if you look it up on the internet, you will only find abstract information, so you will have to go somewhere close to it.

To the site of Aum Shinrikyo “Sathyan”A record of Utsufuku’s journey and daily life

As far as I researched, it seems that the 7th Satyan was located roughly in this location.

This is what you see on Street View.

There was a private house built in a location that seemed to be almost directly next to it, so I decided to take photos in moderation.

Surrounding environment

It’s the best environment to see Mt. Fuji on a plateau without much traffic.

The photo below was taken near where the 6th Satyan was located, and I can’t believe such a facility existed.

Not only are there no ruins, but even the foundations of the buildings remain, and the exact location has not been published online in this era.

I don’t think it’s ideal to make something taboo and forget about it, but it was an area that the people who created the surrounding environment didn’t want to delve into.
