I ordered Ramen Ichiran’s “Kikurage” topping

Foods

“Kikurage” can be found in the ticket vending machine at Ramen Ichiran.

It’s a 130 yen topping.

I was curious about it, so I asked for it, but the bottom line is that unless you really like jellyfish, it’s just a nuisance.

My recommendation is the green onion, chashu pork, and egg topping.

My stinginess kicked in and I ended up saving 130 yen on eggs this time.

Ramen with Dogan on it for 1500 yen.

It adds a crunchy texture and gives the impression that the volume is increased by about 30-40%.

Intuitively, it’s Ichiran Kikurage Ramen . If you like wood ear mushrooms, you’ll be happy.

However, crunchy ingredients don’t go well with a creamy soup.

It gets in the way when you want to enjoy the pork bone soup.

To be honest, paying 130 yen for this is a waste.

In this case, I think it would be better to buy a boiled egg or a drink from a vending machine on the way home.

If someone other than a fan of wood ear mushrooms were to buy it, they would probably order it to change it up when they get tired of it, or out of curiosity.

However, there are better options for toppings to add variety, and since it’s exactly what everyone imagined, there’s nothing unusual about it.

As always, my three recommended toppings remain: egg, green onion, and chashu.

I stopped by Sunomata Kazuya Castle and returned home.

Sunomata Ichiya Castle is about 5 minutes by car southwest from Ichiran’s Gifu store. If you go around 5am on a summer morning, you can enjoy the sunrise and the beautiful view of the castle and river.
