I tried selling AI art for 30 days

Business

I am in the process of enhancing this blog to become a profitable side of AI.

Another area I haven’t touched on yet is “AI art sales.”

this would work.

Let’s try it.

Day 0: About types of image generation AI

There are various types of image generation AI in one mouth.

DALL E2

Midjourney

Nightcafe

If you focus on anime-style illustrations, you can even use NovelAI.

For the time being, even if you just put in “gangster baby, oil painting”, you will get a cool illustration like the one below.

Essentially, these AI tools require a dedicated in-service currency to generate images. In other words, it’s basically not something you can use for free. But the rewards are great. Don’t be stingy here, I want you to pay and touch it.

Days 1-7: Test listing

In the first week, it seems that they were able to become an image generation AI and had a test exhibition.

In the video, the one-page business template mentioned above is introduced.

It’s worth watching because it can clarify what to do.

Day 8: Confirmation of response to test listings

By this day, it seems that several types were exhibited and searching for a response.

Anime-based, animal-based, fantastic scenery, historical greats, etc.

From what I’ve seen so far, it seems that the anime series has a good response.

It seems that sales were also zero, but well, this is not a big problem.

Day 9: Promotional Post

It seems that I tried to post an advertisement in the SNS community.

I got some feedback,

There were also comments from people who were left behind in the times, such as “AI art is **”, outdated, denying new things for the time being.

I don’t think it’s worth worrying about..

Day 12: Change strategy

It seems that the progress is not good.

It’s time to think of a new strategy.

Sell backgrounds for novel games,

Try selling cover images for music albums,

Similarly, I put up a music album for sale again.

Apparently, based on the request I received, I seem to work like thinking about a cover.

Day 16: Started selling

Sales started picking up.

Day 30: Summary/Review

In the end, there were eight sales, for a total profit of $80.

I think custom orders are going to take a lot of time.

Let’s find out if there are any good ideas in the direction of exhibiting illustrations that have already been generated.
