At the culmination of my week-long rental of the CR-Z, I drove along the Sea of Japan to Tojinbo.
There is a problem with the important scenery.
You can see wild cliff areas everywhere you go along the Sea of Japan, so I wonder if it’s worth paying the parking fee and coming all the way through the crowds…
I think I’ll take advantage of this opportunity to eat something delicious.
The restaurant I had planned to go to in advance was closed, so I happened to come across a restaurant that served the “Shiosai set meal.”
It was a shop called “Shiosai no Yashiro”. It’s on the second floor of this building.
Along with the Shiosai set meal, I also ordered grilled squid.
The squid was lightly coated with sweet sauce, and paired with the spicy mayonnaise, it tasted like freshly grilled squid.
This is the Shiosai set meal.
The soba, tempura, and sashimi are all of a very high standard.
There is a small collection of a wide variety of menu items, and the fact that you can eat this for around 1,600 yen feels like a good deal.
It seems difficult to make, but…
The moment you bite into tempura, it makes a pleasant crunching sound that you’ve never heard before in your life.
The soba noodles are also on a different level than the ones you would normally eat. The soup was also moderately salty and good.
Next time I come, I want to order tempura soba.
It took about 20 to 30 minutes for the food to be served, so I was disappointed that I didn’t have enough time.
The bill for these two items was just over 3,000 yen.
In my opinion, it’s high.
Many shops in Tojinbo sell seafood bowls, grilled seafood skewers, and grilled squid.
My recommendation is to buy and eat grilled squid for around 1,500 yen.
