We departed from the Nagoya area around 9:00 to 10:00 p.m., drove along Chuo Expressway at night, ate katsudon at a service area, looked at Lake Suwa, and returned home.
Until you get off the expressway (SA Meshi and the empty expressway)
I live in the area between Nagoya and Gifu, so it’s best to leave after 9 p.m. to get to Lake Suwa on a late night fare.
The roads are empty, so you can drive without stress.
Now, in the Komagatake Service Area on both the upper and lower lines . Katsudon 24 hours a day for 890 yen , you can enjoy
It’s crunchy, crunchy, and delicious, and when you combine it with the special feeling of eating it on the go, it’s the ultimate. Miso soup and pickled vegetables are also delicious.
don’t expect much from a 24-hour ticket-based food court , but this katsudon is amazing because you can enjoy crispy pork cutlet at a reasonable price. You probably
Perhaps the best thing about it is that it doesn’t weigh you down because the portion is not too large.
.
The recommended route is to get off at the smart IC in the Ogurogawa parking area and take the lower path through the mountains towards Lake Suwa.
I left the house too early, so I had about 30-40 minutes left.
We had a comfortable time as we stocked up on books, iPads, coffee, juice, etc. However, the temperature was below 3℃, so when I turned off the engine as a PHV, the water temperature was taken away instantly.
From the high-speed interchange to Lake Suwa (National Route 152 winding attack)
The recommended route is to get off the Ogurogawa PA smart interchange after 12:00 and head for Lake Suwa via National Route 152 in the mountainous area.
The elegant streets of Ina City and Takato Town
If you follow the car navigation system heading east along the Shinshu Ina Alps Highway, you will pass through a shopping street. For a brief moment, you can enjoy the quaint taste of the cityscape.
If you go further east, you will pass through an area called Takato Town.
It is lined with old-fashioned buildings, and it is symbolic that they are beautifully illuminated even at night.
Although I can’t find an affordable parking lot, it’s nice to be able to see beautiful scenery while driving.
Lake Suwa sightseeing (impressive night view)
Suwa City Lakeside Park
This is a park on the east coast of Lake Suwa. There are several parking lots, so if you go a few times, you’ll be able to find your favorite spot.
The city lights reflect on the surface of the lake, creating a fantastic scenery.
The moon was also beautiful on this day. You can spend a peaceful time here.
Tateishi Park
It takes some effort as you have to climb a narrow and steep mountain path, but I highly recommend you stop by Tateishi Park at least once.
This is because this spectacular view is so expansive.
Night view surrounding the lake. Don’t miss the beautiful light stage that fits perfectly below your eyes.
Okaya Lakeside Park
This park is located on the northern shore of Lake Suwa.
Although it’s quiet compared to the two spots above, it’s still fairly empty even during the day.
You can also take a toilet break.
After leaving here, let’s return along the road along the west side of Lake Suwa.
Return home (return home before it gets crowded via Ariga Pass)
All that’s left now is to go home.
If you would like to take a different route than the one you went on, we recommend heading down Ariga Pass on Prefectural Route 50.
Once you get down to Tatsuno, take the lower path south as far as your time and physical strength allow.
You can see fresh scenery and save on highway tolls.
If you slow down too much, you’ll arrive around Nagoya around 5 a.m., and even the passing lanes will be crowded.
