[Ishikawa/Fukui] Drive from Kanazawa to Tojinbo with a detour[Roads to Drive in Japan]

Today we will start in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the entrance to the Noto Peninsula from the west, and drive to Tojinbo.

Shirao lighthouse

The first stop is Shirao Lighthouse.

There is a shrine and a lighthouse on a hill along the coast, and you can see this kind of scenery.

Right next door is Noto Satoyama Kaido, which has a nice view despite being on the edge of a residential area.

It was 4 o’clock in the morning, and there was no one on the road.

Ishikawa Prefecture Nishida Kitaro Memorial Museum of Philosophy

I only stopped here for a restroom break, but it was a spot with a beautiful sunrise and a nice view.

The building looks like this, and it seems that the structure of the facility is centered around philosophy.

I’d like to come around Citroen.

Kahoku Lagoon reclaimed land

This entire area is covered in rice fields, and the scenery is truly beautiful at this time of day.

A straight line that stretches for about 2km with no traffic.

The visibility was good and the road was wide, so I unusually got off and took some photos.

I like the world late at night when no one is around, but I can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the world becoming brighter while maintaining the silence of late at night. It was around 4:30 to 5:30 in the morning at dawn. It’s sweet time.

Kahokugata metasequoia trees

I don’t want to introduce it too much because it seems that the nuisance behavior of blocking roads is being justified in the name of “looking good on SNS”…

It’s a spot like this.

For some reason, among the vast rice fields, Metasequoia trees are lined up in a row along this straight line.

To be honest, the road was so narrow that I didn’t feel like stopping to take pictures.

If you do it during the day, it will definitely be a nuisance. If you’re going to take pictures anyway, come between 4 and 5 in the morning.

sunflower village

This was also a really great spot.

A field of sunflowers. The yellow flowers are bright.

There is a route, and there seems to be something like an observation deck.

It was probably because it had only been a few minutes since the sun had risen.

The sunflower is not facing the sun…

I wonder if everyone is still asleep. I think I could title this photo “Sunflower not facing the sun” lol

If you visit here, please be careful where you park.

The place I’m parked is on someone else’s property that has nothing to do with Himawari Village .

The official parking spot is on the far left side, so please make sure you don’t make this mistake.

Since I was only there for less than a few minutes and there was no traffic, I decided to leave immediately…

Roadside Station Uchinada Sunset Park/Uchinada Ohashi Bridge

There is a roadside station a few minutes away by car from the Kahokugata reclaimed land that I just introduced.

Right next to the roadside station is Uchinada Ohashi Bridge.

The roadside station is located on a hill, so you can enjoy the view to the east.

You can also see the sea on the other side.

Personally, I recommend the view from the temporary parking lot across the road.

Kanazawa Medical University Hospital is right next door, and this hospital is quite large.

Uchinada coast

Part of the coastline around here can be accessed by car.

I didn’t go in by car because I didn’t want to get buried in the sand, but I could see a luxury cruise ship in the background.

By the way, there was a car shop with a Beetle on the roof along the national highway between here and the next spot.

Matsuto Seaside Park/Windmill without wings

It is a park where you can see something strange called “windmills without windmills”.

I said that, but it was a spot where I didn’t know what I wanted to do anymore.

It seems like this is a spot where many people with children come to play, so I don’t think they should be carelessly alarmed.

It was empty when I went, and I’ll introduce you to the place I stopped by, but I think you can just pass by.

Dorinji Park/Place of Benkei Apology

This is where the story of Kabuki comes into play. This is an original story with a Kamakura period theme.

This is a story similar to that of Christ.

To briefly summarize the story, when passing through a security check, he intentionally punched a prominent person to prove that he was not on his side.

As a result, the great people were able to escape from their predicament, but the person who hit them later tearfully apologized for their actions.

Apparently there is such a story.

This is just a rough summary, so please check out Kabuki’s “Kankancho” for more details.

It was a spot filled with pine cones, much to the delight of Mercari people.

Komatsu Airport Observation Deck

Parking is free for 60 minutes from the time you park, so I decided to stop by this spot.

I personally like food vending machines, so I took this photo randomly.

Once you get to the top, there is a place like an observation deck, but it’s hot and there are a lot of people without masks, and you have to wait for 10 minutes at a time.

Personally, there were many elements that made me feel tired, so I left quickly.

There is also a facility called “Ishikawa Prefectural Aviation Plaza” across the street, so it’s a must-see spot for aviation enthusiasts.

Murasaki Yamagata/Ukichiro Nakatani Snow Science Museum

There is a spot called “Shibayamagata” that stands out even when looking at this area on a map.

However, after a few hours of starting your trip, you may get tired of seeing the spectacular natural scenery.

I left quickly.

Hashidate fishing port

I drove right past this place, but couldn’t find a spot to park.

I don’t know what kind of structure it is, but it gives a very interesting view of a series of buildings behind the pier.

Kasamisaki Lighthouse

“I didn’t come in the summer,” she regretted.

After several tens of terrible seconds of getting tangled up in insects and thoughts of the damage caused by ticks and gnats running through my mind, I headed out of the Kasa no Misaki parking lot through the forest and out to the lighthouse.

Although it was nice to go out, I didn’t have the energy to go to Cape Kasano in the back because of the jungle-like vegetation.

I want to come back for revenge someday.

Moon Rabbit Village

I missed it due to business hours, but I was personally very interested in it, so I’d like to introduce it to you.

It seems to be a compact zoo-like facility inhabited by many rabbits.

I want to go someday…

Also, Tojinbo is finally getting closer. This is a random photo I took from a parking space near the Seaside Natural Park.

Oshima

In fact, it is a solemn island located just a stone’s throw from Tojinbo.

I didn’t proceed because I felt uncomfortable walking back through the red bridge in the heat, so I thought, “Well, I can come back again.”

Now, from here on, we will drive from Tojinbo along the coast and return to Tsuruga.
