“First, make sure the negative terminal on the battery is properly tightened.”
Now, I am a Prius PHV GR owner, and I have a problem.
Just when I was about to run, I heard an error sound, “Pooh!”
“Hybrid system malfunction”, “Please have it inspected at the dealer”, “LDA cannot be used”, etc.
A large number of mysterious error messages were displayed and I was unable to move.
Plug in the OBD2 diagnostic device with the ignition ON,
If you delete the hybrid system related error code or self-diagnosis,
It will heal once. You can run without any problem.
But it happens again.
I have never tried this.
Even though I didn’t do anything to break it,
Why does this happen?
Now I know why.
The negative terminal of the battery was completely removed .
I previously worked by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery, and
Because there was a message saying “momentary power outage”,
“ No way,” I thought, and retightened the negative terminal on the battery.
As a result, similar problems no longer occur.
…But a few weeks later, it came back.
If you think about it calmly, you’re right.
Because the “loose battery terminal problem” hasn’t been resolved at all.
Should I buy a new battery terminal or put a lead plate between them…
