Harumi Flag’s location and vacancy rate are becoming a hot topic, even though prices have risen due to real estate resale.
I was curious about the place and had an opportunity to rent a car nearby, so I stopped by.
a beautiful spot perfect for relaxing in a convertible late at night or taking a quiet photo . It was
This is a common area in open-world car games where you want to take your time and enjoy the scenery. That’s it.
Surrounding roads and transportation network
The roads are wide, visibility is good, and there are relatively few traffic lights, making it easy to drive.
Even if you park on the street, it is difficult to cause a nuisance due to the width of the road.
Bicycle rental stations can be found everywhere in Tokyo.
With its modern tower block, clean landscape, streetlights that brightly illuminate the area even at night, and accents of vegetation, it looks great when driven by a sophisticated car with a new generation design.
There seem to be several people out and about even late at night. In the building that can be glimpsed towards the back, there are only three lights on that can be seen at a glance. But I took the photo of the layback below at 3 o’clock in the morning, so I guess that’s it.
If you shoot with a wide angle, you can see the tall tower in the background, giving it a sense of spaciousness and volume.
However, the car becomes distorted. It’s dark at night, so I can’t get a good picture of the upper floors.
Harumi Wharf Park
This park is located at the west end of the Harumi Flag pier, where you can see the Rainbow Bridge clearly, and enjoy the cool breeze cooled by the sea.
It’s extremely hot in the middle of the day in summer, but if you come at night or early in the morning, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the pleasant breeze.
Boats are also moored around the area, so those who like rides can enjoy it.
Running seems to be encouraged, with paint on the ground showing the distance. This is a blessing for people who run on a daily basis.
Scenery from the driver’s seat
Since I was shooting a driving video, there is also a video from the driver’s perspective.
There is nothing blocking the view near the Wharf Park, and you can see the buildings that line up across Tokyo Bay.
If you go at night when there is less traffic, you can open the windows and enjoy the breeze while relaxing.
In Tokyo, it’s easy to get confused by taxis that fly away when you think you’ve been stopped at a traffic light, and by the random junctions that come your way. Just because it’s late at night doesn’t mean you can play music calmly.
It would be best if I took the Shuto Expressway in an open car.
In particular, the CX-60’s large body size is not a concern thanks to the road width, and since it is a PHV model,
the engine I was able to run it using just the motor with turned off. When I opened the window, the wind came in like an open car. I had a wonderful time.
I don’t know if everyone is so lonely or not, but if you have time to write unintelligent comments in YouTube comment sections like “The real estate bubble has burst!!”, you can actually go out and find an architect. It would be a good idea to think about our efforts.
Bonus: I couldn’t take good photos of the cloudy Tokyo Tower late at night.
This photo was taken near the parking lot where I rented a layback. The west side of Shinbashi Station has a beautiful cityscape.
Since I was driving nearby, I also stopped by Tokyo Tower.
I took the photo directly below. It was so dark that it was hard to recognize that it was Tokyo Tower. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to turn on the headlights half-heartedly.
I took the photo from a distance, but because of the cloudy sky I couldn’t see it at all.
The advantage is that it’s empty late at night, but I’m not good at taking photos with my smartphone in dark places.
