I tried Ramen Ichiran’s “additional garlic” topping and couldn’t find the difference at all.

I’ve been testing Ramen Ichiran’s toppings from time to time, but this time I’m going to try “additional garlic (2 cloves)”. Plus 130 yen.

This is the ticket vending machine at Ichiran where I went.

By the way, even though I went there at 3 o’clock in the morning, it was completely packed .

It’s impossible for it to be this crowded on weekdays, so it’s probably because the timing was from Saturday to Sunday.

I guess I waited about 15-20 minutes.

I thought it would be a long time, so I tried eating a half-boiled salt-boiled egg as is, and discovered that it actually had flavor added to it.

The saltiness is strong enough to give it a strong taste, and the yolk has a strong taste as if it had been soaked in soy sauce.

It was so delicious that I wanted to buy another one on its own. She didn’t notice because she was always digging into the ramen.

Well, we arrived. The yellow object in the upper left is additional garlic.

I usually add chashu, but this time I skipped it.

So I tried adding it, but I couldn’t really feel the difference…

This may be due to the fact that I thought, “If I’m going to try garlic, I’d better have a larger amount,” so I marked one clove on the initial order form.

When I put about a quarter of the amount on a spoon and put it in my mouth, I felt a tingling sensation on the tip of my tongue, but it didn’t seem to have increased.

Especially after swallowing, the aftertaste that remains in your mouth doesn’t seem to have changed.

Next time I thought I would try removing all the garlic to see the difference…

Other things I haven’t tried are orange juice and seaweed.
