This is a summary of a side project using AI that I make from time to time for the purpose of incorporating new ideas.
Again, we have collected ideas that are feasible using print-on-demand services.
Dog Collar
This store, Heatley Dog Collars, sells dog collars.
In fact, this collar store has cumulative sales of 100 million yen.
They are achieved by printing a horizontal still image, so a custom product could be made.
There is also a version that has the name and phone number for lost children printed on the buckle, as shown here.
By the way, this dog collar is printable with Printify.
It would be possible to expand the possibilities by drawing your own illustrations or doing so with appropriate image generation AI.

Pet Portraits
It is quicker to see the real thing than words.
It’s art like this, only with a pet face.
Some of them performed with their owners.
In this day and age, it can be generated by Midjourney.
All you have to do is apply the face using Photoshop.
The skill is to synthesize them without discomfort.

I don’t know what the demand is, but they seem to be making solid sales.
Guide to Using AI
There are plenty of things you can find on GG, but they are selling something like a “list of spells for image generation AI”.
This is an area where the AI painter-related flame wars have run their course in Japan.
I don’t really recommend it.
Candles
Yes, just string labeled candles.
I don’t know what that means, but I wonder if it’s a “praise and grow type T-shirt” kind of flirtation…
This is also possible to imitate as long as you have a design image, as Printify has a template for this.
Tumbler wrapping paper
These are tumblers. Simply put, they are just paper wrapped around a tube, but these are also making tremendous sales.
Perhaps three identical pieces are prepared and placed at different angles to make them look like one piece.
This also looks interesting. I would love to make a castle version, I have a few of my own, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever get around to it. Maybe I’ll go out and take some pictures myself…
Wrapping Paper
It’s just a pattern, done on a project some day.
Although AI generation is easy, this too has cumulatively generated nearly $100 million in sales.
Summary
I don’t intend to do it myself, but it was fun to watch.
